How in the hell would a name change do anything? Was that the only Mexican-related thing you could come up with when asked why the need for a name change?
Need a better one. This one isn’t entertaining or funny.
It’s a bit prettier. What’s missing (and I know this is meme territory so it’s not a big deal) is how the jet stream is not just weak and wandering, but literally breaking in places and that’s where warm air into the poles happens. And it’s not hard to understand warmer where there’s normally ice means less ice.
The graphic isn’t all that accurate. The text says a colder period is because of a warmer planet but then the cold area from a meandering jet stream looks larger. The missing part is the warmer air that leaks into the polar areas, causing a feedback loop by further deteriorating the balance of cold and warm that drives the jet stream.
The promise was to get the votes, but to grant that promise suggests more to it.
Follow the money. There has to be some profit downstream. Otherwise this would be a blanket recognizing for all tribes in the US. Maybe some quid pro quo for some resource, with the threat of removing the status if they don’t comply?
Four more years of proving that it’s far easier to break things than it is to build or repair things.
That erosion evidence would go through the Strait, but the point is that they found it from well into the Atlantic and on into the Mediterranean. Erosion in the Strait alone wouldn’t be enough to suggest massive water movement.
