Even if you switch to an offline keyboard, the new “ai” assistants in Windows, iOS, and Android? Can read your screen, microphone, and etc. I’m not really sure what you should use unless you use coded language. Even then, there’s just too much information about you out there anyway. Best bet would to be have conversations in private away from any electronic devices or use something like tails.

If you buy on eBay they are required to send items with tracking. No tracking means you can just ask for a refund and you’ll receive it automatically since they can’t provide a tracking number. The major carriers also do rate adjustments if the seller tries to underpay for packages by listing the wrong weight. Unfortunately as a seller this also means that you have to watch for erroneous weight adjustments and contest them when they crop up. I think it happens when your package is sitting on top of another package when it goes under the automated photo system.

I’ve never had an issue with receiving a package from eBay and I buy and sell on there all the time. I had one package I shipped get lost, I had another I sent through eBays international forwarding service (Pitney Bowes) who said they wouldn’t forward it because of the materials in the item. It was not listed as a prohibited item and isn’t prohibited to ship internationally, I got to keep the money and the buyer got a refund.

There’s a ton of privately owned mid sized companies that you’ve never heard of that heavily fund the GOP. The Unihleins that own Uline are a prime example. There’s thousands of these multi millionaires out there running companies that make things you use everyday that you don’t think of. The guy who owns the trucking company that delivers stuff to your grocery store. The contractor that builds the roads you drive on. The company that rebuilds the pumps that run your local water supply and on and on. There’s so many of these people out there that you can’t avoid them at all.

That just sounds like a bunch of unnecessary work for no real gain.

From what I read he’s the sole dev on three different large projects and ignoring issue requests.

After seeing that the creator of Pixelfed is also the single Deb dev of two other big projects and is trying to crowdsourse money for it, in a bit hesitant until they allow other people to work on the project and make sure it’s not just a pump and dump.
