Just in time for the next pandemic.
Just in time for the next pandemic.
I should have said “I hope for him”. Personally I don’t give a rat’s ass.
I mean I don’t wish bad things to happen to anybody, but chances are, if this Brian Thompson replacement got the job, it’s probably not because he’s a charitable man who’s desperate to do right by UHC’s patrons. So if he gets whacked - and he clearly has a giant target on his back - I might not weep at his funeral.
I hope he negotiated 24/7 armed guard as part of his contract…
The US consumers voted for Trump to lower the price of eggs.
The price of eggs is soaring today. Why? Because bird flu is killing chicken.
So what does Trump do? He cancels research on bird flu. Surely the irony won’t be missed on the magats who voted him in.
And now this: aggression against allied nations that will result in more price hikes. More irony for the maga morons to enjoy.
It’s only been 4 days. It’s gonna be a long 4 years…
The ADL lost all credibility forever, and the right to open their trap about anything, when they failed to condemn Musk’s Nazi salute in the strongest possible terms.
It’s not great when gentiles don’t distance themselves clearly from the South African Nazi. But when jews don’t either - especially jews who purport to defend against defamation of all things - it’s extremely clear that those people are either totally corrupt or extremely wimpy.
So he does back the blue after all - just the wrong shade of blue.
Nothing says quality POTUS like one MBS is on friendly terms with.
Way ahead of you: I’ve never used Amazon.
I think the sheer amout of egregious shit that Trump and his henchmen have spewed out for the past 9 years has desensitized everybody. At some point it’s just too much, and the opposition has to choose the worst stuff to focus on at any particular moment - and amazingly, a high-ranking US official cracking a Nazi salute doesn’t quite cut it anymore.
Almost all dictators have played the same score: overwhelm everybody with outrageous stuff until a critical majority is tired enough, or accepts the least terrible things on the table.
A good antidote for this is to imaging one of our former presidents doing, saying or accepting any of the things that are happening now. Even the worst president: can you imaging Nixon saying he’s going to kill the 14th amendment, or sitting idly by while Kissinger makes Nazi salutes in GOP rallies, or picking Schlessinger if he was suspected of sexual misconduct or alcoholism? The press would have been all over him and people would have been in the street demanding his resignation.
From TFA:
Elon Musk made a hand gesture Monday that many people said resembled a Nazi salute
Good grief… What is it with ALL media outlets tiptoeing around this?
Elon Musk made a fucking Nazi salute. Plain and simple. Just say it like it is already. Whether he didn’t realize or he was overexcited and made a genuine mistake doesn’t matter: it was factually a fucking Nazi salute.
Nobody can’t possibly be sued for defamation over this: it’s factually true! Are they so afraid to be on the first trains when the concentration camps open?
So DEI is the new jew?
My father fought Trump’s role models in Germany. He must be spinning in his grave. And I can’t believe I’m witnessing the exact same stuff my father told me in my lifetime - and coming from the US too! That’s… staggering.
Plus ca change…
‘In this country, we hate Nazis’
I wouldn’t be so sure. Trump didn’t win the election in a packet of cereals…
At least they dressed sharply thanks to Hugo Boss. The MAGA movement looks like a bunch of tramps - chief of which being Steve Bannon.
“Meter” isn’t a French word (it’s “mètre”) and “metre” isn’t an American English word for “mètre”. And neither “meter” nor “metre” are pronounced like “mètre”.
I would create a machine that can create anything of course.
