Let’s gooo!
I loved Bocchi, but if I was given the choice of directing either Frieren S2 or Bocchi S2, it’s not that difficult to choose. I feel like the first season had a great ending, so it will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
If money was no issue I would direct a SOL over anything remotely action related but I’m just a random brain damaged moe slurping idiot so choosing the opposite is probably what any well adjusted adult would do. I even think bocchi was a bit story heavy so I will be interested so see if they double down on that or not.
Frieren feels like a fantasy SOL for 80% of the time to be fair.
Maybe I’m missing something, but why the comparison? Edit: nvm, I didn’t realise the previous director also did Frieren. That’s a pretty big range.

So excited for this!! Not only for the show itself but also for more music! The first season was so great and I adore the soundtrack.
