“S-Q-L ‘aight” for SQLite?
When I was about 15 I created a list of eight character, randomly generated passwords. I memorized about 10 of them and to this day different combinations have been used for things like disk encryption, Apple ID, etc. I use a password manager for just about everything but there are a few things where knowing your password is a must, so brute-force memorization can be the way to go.
For what it’s worth, only one of the passwords was in a data leak before I started combining them. It happened to be a weaker password anyway (no mixed case) so I use it sparingly for low-priority offline stuff.
Going into this I thought “okay, Verizon’s probably pushing their 5G network” but when I realized they were upgrading to fiber optic, I was like “yeah, we’re fucked.”
Yeah that’s a whole other can of worms. I see this a lot at work where people are asking for direct database credentials and cringe every time.
Is it though? I haven’t used a framework since probably 2007 that doesn’t do this. There are the smaller, more DIY frameworks out there but I’ve never used them professionally.
Lately I’ve been dealing with tons of invalid byte sequences in MySQL dumps and it makes me question what the hell they’re allowing in there.
Unless you’re coding from scratch it’s hard to not do this with any modern framework.
I came to say the same because the spoon sounds like a bigger problem than using fingers.
As a person in that demographic it’s wild to me that leftism isn’t appealing… we’re supposed to just blame everything on everyone but ourselves I suppose?
I’ve been doing web development for something like 20 years now and I just can’t imagine how shitty your backend is if this is an issue.
Hopefully they along with other restaurants like them continue suffering.
I hate that the animals are suffering but maybe there’s a silver lining long-term.
This is why I take a late lunch every day. Every standup I’m like “I’ll wrap up this small issue from yesterday, then move on to something bigger…”
Usually the “small issue” is finally done around 4 PM.
As a business it’s possible to use Amazon for fulfillment only so that you can sell anywhere and have it shipped by Amazon.
You know, sometimes I try to read articles outside my echo chamber and at this point conservative == conspiracy
in my mind. You’re just playing mental gymnastics the entire time.
How do you complete the captcha? For me it just loops; it’s to the point where not having the original link to an article is actually more annoying.
I feel you. My first jobs were in fast food, then Walmart, then warehouse jobs after that. So even though I’m a web developer now I still have that eternal frustration with people moving too slow.
What I always thought to be my first memory. I explained it to my mother and she said she only lived in the place I described for the first six months of my life.
I always thought it was fake because I thought it was impossible to have memories that early on in life.
That kind of phrasing always seems they assume that not believing is the same as rejecting and therefore you too believe in the existence of God/god.
They just completely miss the point.
