You can cap maximum image upload size in bytes that lemmy instances will host with pict-rs, and the limit varies by instance, as admins have chosen different settings.
It looks like currently, lemmy doesn’t tell clients about the limit ahead of time, just fails the upload attempt if the image exceeds the instance limit:
Do you specifically want it on paper, or do you just care about compact and offline? I mean, Kiwix will do offline Wikipedia on a phone, which is gonna store a lot more data than a full-size printed set in a more-compact form factor than a single book.
I’ve seen two websites that record average response times for lemmy, maybe all Threadiverse instances. Kind of wish that there were a wiki somewhere for all the Web-based tools.

It only seems to show current latency (and it’s not clear that on this site, what the latency is for – just to ping the thing or the lemmy instance responding to a lemmy-level request). Lemmy.world looks in line with others on this one.
Maybe the one I’m thinking of isn’t online any more. It had a graph and did show lemmy.world latency increases back when a lot of new users were piling in, though that was some time back and may have been resolved.
Isn’t Jenkins a continuous integration system? I’d think that you’d want a configuration management system (like ansible) if you’re not trying to set up CI infrastructure.

I don’t want my laptop to have its battery constantly being drained.
I have it set up to suspend for 10 minutes, and if it’s still suspended, hibernate.
That lets me move it from location to location quickly for short moves, but also means that if I don’t open the thing up again for a week or two, it’s fine.
I don’t care that much on the desktop, though faster is always nice.
I do care on laptops, where it’s linked to time required to wake up from hibernation.

In the past, I’ve used a FIPS-181 pronounceable password generator to generate pronounceable usernames that don’t collide with existing usernames. But since the Threadiverse is still young, plus each new instance has its own username space, it’s practical to have a very short username.

Well, I imagine that you can try asking the instance admin, see if they’re willing to do something, but I don’t expect that there will be a magic back door short of that, else people would use it to break into accounts.
EDIT: It’s also kind of generic advice, but if you are pretty sure that you registered your email account with it, you could try checking any spam filtering system that you or your mail provider use. Like, that reset email might be in a “Spam” mailbox somewhere.
