The CIA playbook to disrupt fascists recommends malicious compliance. People shouldn’t be resigning from these positions, they need to stay put and subtly destroy, sabotage, and slow the fascists’ progress in small ways each day. Or “Delay, Deny, Defend,” if you will.

5·12 days agoThe color ones have lower resolution screens and less contrast+brightness than black and white. If you read comics it’s a big step up, but if you read mostly black and white text, it’s a downgrade.

6·1 month agoThe challenge with messengers like Matrix and WhatsApp (and I assume sup, correct me if I’m wrong) is that they don’t encrypt the metadata like Signal’s sealed sender. Knowing exactly who you talk to and how frequently is a very juicy target for the government … And the government right now is orange Hitler and his ragtag team of muppets, so I trust that they’ll abuse whatever power and knowledge they have to the utmost.
