Lemmy is my cocaine.

There a big difference in seeking something out and someone walking up to you and talking at you.
It’s less about valuing communication and more about the dopamine hit. Delivering that lecture and educating the simpletons feels really good.
Do you want people to care or do you want to lecture people who don’t agree with you. People like to give lectures on politics, but no one listens to them. If you want people to care you have to care about them.
Even in a shooter, you can make maps that encourage different play styles or have different interactive elements that can change the map. Not all of those may exist at launch, or more informed ideas can be used.
Doing post release content can be good. It gives the devs a chance to do something after they are more familiar with the tools and what content players prefer.
Excited to see the new features of civ8.
The USSR wasn’t integrated, it was centralized. Shortages weren’t shared to reduce impact, resources where distributed by political connection first and need second. Movement was highly controlled.
That’s orthogonal to the point though. Looking the other way in regards to cartel’s human smuggling isn’t helping asylum seekers, it’s enabling the criminal activity of the cartel. Similarly them being terrorists or not has little to do with US intervention.
That’s only true because they are part of the US, which guarantees a lot of free trade/resources from other states. There’s also other things like California being dependent on electricity from other states, the price isn’t going to stay the same.
States leaving isn’t realistic. They are way more integrated than the EU has ever dreamed of being. Brexit was messy with a mostly independent UK, something like California leaving would take decades of negotiations to replace existing interstate compacts with treaties.
The CIA is not great at high profile assassination, their declassified documents are plenty scary though.
Forever is unrealistic, but they do need to string together some well received movies and shows without attacking the fan base. As it is now I’d sacrifice the few good things to have no Disney star wars. The lack of new shows or movies didn’t make me like it less.
Was your grandpa a member of the court of owls?
Is there any legitimate argument that cartels aren’t terrorists? They seem to have successfully terrorized the local population in to compliance. They run militias and have military equipment.
Most the must haves are older, some aren’t on steam, but are worth checking out if you end up liking some others.
Kylo killing snoke isn’t actually a subversion though. That’s how sith worked, the apprentice would eventually get strong enough to kill the master.
There are people that still hate the prequels, but they are the clear minority. Even on release the hate wasn’t as strong for the prequels as it has been for the sequels. Some of it may be the toxic behavior of Disney outside the movies themselves, but that’s a self inflicted wound.
I doubt the sequels become more well thought of. It’s already been 5 years from ROS a decade from TFA and nothing has really changed in a positive direction.
Try making friends first, or at least understanding them. If you aren’t willing or capable of doing that you are just going to make things worse.
