The issue isn’t federation, it’s the onboarding and “style” of social media.

Also I don’t think there is a Facebook equivalent is there? If people weren’t on Reddit they aren’t gonna care about Lemmy. The Facebook crowd need a good alternative before they will migrate.

Yeah, I guarantee you not a single developer gives two shits about how much the game costs. It’s not going into their pockets regardless.
