If I remember correctly the freedom fries became a thing when the French criticized Bushes war in Iraq.
Indeed. That was over 20 years ago. But Republicans were already master hypocrites back then.
People that think Trump turned the republicans party into the garbage pile that it is will be surprised to know it started much earlier than that. Trump just recognized he could use this garbage pile to gain power.
