Summary

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned that the Trump is deliberately overwhelming the public with chaotic news to induce passivity.

Citing Steve Bannon’s “flood the zone” strategy and historian Michiko Kakutani’s comparison of Trump to Mussolini and Hitler, she argued that Trump uses the internet to spread disinformation, much like past dictators used film and radio.

Urging people to stay engaged, she emphasized that collective resistance can slow harmful policies and that small acts of opposition make a difference.

Nazis don’t know about tankies since ANYTHING left of the overton window is ✨Evil Communism ✨. At worst they’re a well informed liberal. In any case you should be well aware that propaganda is a thing. The naivety is thinking it’s one-sided or that it need be anything beyond omission.

No connection to rabid anti-communism and nazism at all. No siree. Certainly not the defining trait.

And I’m not against communists, I’m only against tankies! You know. Literally any communist movement that had any measure of success! Have you heard what Radio Free Asia says about them??

By the way I’m immune to the largest most expensive propaganda machine that’s ever been created by humankind. But you should check yourself because I think you’re being duped by overseas non english speaking sources because you don’t have an identical position on these things as Nanci Pelosi, Donald Trump and myself.
