Do I seem to recall one of the creators of Wolfenstein once went to an interview and asked something to the effect of “What happened to America? Since when killing Nazis became ‘problematic’?”. Several years ago, maybe over a decade. The US was given a warning and they didn’t listen.

In Cyberpunk 2077 the major antagonists are the corporations, although the game is not as punk as the name would suggest as you spend spend about the same amount of time working for them, or even for the police or government.

Once upon a time, before the Nazi killing was reserved for online lobbies, Call of Duty had games take place in World War 2.

    They come out swinging, huh

All media should swing anti-nazi. More movies about killing Nazis, more games about it, etc.

And specifically to make sure the reality of Nazis are shown. Like in the literature you find in the newer Wolfenstein games, the stuff is shines a light on how stupid the Nazi ‘scientific’ mentality really was.

An unmentioned kinda out-of-the-box thing is Garry’s mod (gmod). Pretty sure there are downloadable models and/or skins for nazis, and you have a ton of tools for fucking them up in the most spectacular ways possible. There are mods for gibbing, better blood and bulletholes and stuff like that. Make Rube Goldberg machines ending in splattered nazis, strap them to rockets, build mediaeval torture devices etc. The fucking up nazi possibilities are endless!

Making fun of people based on their ability to type is a really low hanging fruit. As long as you can understand what he’s trying to say, you should be happy to be able to hear the opinions of people who are less taleneted in speaking the same language as you, instead of making fun of him. There are many things he knows which you dont, and if everyone were like you, the human race would have died at the discovery of fire because the person who discovered it didn’t perfectly know that times equivalent of grammar.

        Typical .world scum.

Took me a little while to figure out where to put the .ipk3 file (easiest is ~/.config/gzdoom) but otherwise easy enough to get going using the flatpak version of GZDoom. Installing the regular gamefiles + spear of destiny (from my GOG version) was also pretty easy, but I wonder where one can get Return to Danger and Ultimate Challenge 🤔

Either way, good shout, plays excellently, although seems like hitting enemies is harder in this version than the original, at least when they’re far away.

Been watching Band of Brothers (then of course the sequel, The Pacific) and gameplay from The Darkness for this very “no particular reason”. The Darkness feels more cathartic.

Yeah, killing Hitler was so cathartic.

Also just a ridiculous amount of hidden rooms with treasure.
