When somebody won’t just take the compliment. It’s like come on, just take the W.
But also I feel strange getting praise in a real time conversation.
I vocal stim when I’m alone. I’m terrified of the day that I do it when someone is around.
What does this mean?

I do it at home as well.
More people do it than you might think! I sit in an office of 8, there’s always someone either quietly beatboxing to themselves, doing minute long "uhhhrrmm"s or muttering movie quotes. There’s an understanding that anyone who feels bothered by the stimming can put on their noise cancelling headphones lol
I’m a total slob at home but can’t stand people who treat public communal spaces the same way.
