A Texas county government that serves about 40,000 residents is suffering from a cyberattack that forced officials to declare a disaster over the weekend.
The cyberattack was discovered on Friday morning and has been sourced back to an “unauthorized access point, impacting various departments and disrupting some operations.”
County Disaster!! . . . uh . . . but it’s cool, though. No worries.
I would bet several US American dollars that the county IT guy makes about as much as the guy working at Foot Locker. And that one IT person is responsible for well over a hundred people.
