I love when I hear this because people have absolutely no idea how hard I am to fire. I’m a union member in a government job with 15 years service. It took 2 years to get rid of a chronic alcoholic who was caught drinking on the job repeatedly because he was “getting help”

Id literally have to punch the customer and get caught on camera to lose my job instantly.

Is it just a meme or is it true that there are customers out there in the US that try to get a worker fired because they didn’t like what he said?

Dude! I mean that poor guy is just trying to survive. No need to make it harder by being a dick.

This is why many people have suggested that some years of retail service should be necessary for everyone, like military service is in some countries.

I’ve seen it a few times as another customer who has to wait for the Karen to stfu and leave so everyone else in line can go on about their day. Though, most of them have been men. What’re we calling male Karens?

The ASM after a customer has a melt down because I refused to do a page on the phone in the toy isle to call their friend over to them.

‘‘Dude, she did a voice for you, and for some reason it was a valley girl voice, and I almost laughed in her face.’’ (My real voice sounds like Eeyore with the flu, on horse tranquilizers, and a 2 packs a day vocal burn)
